Riu Negril

Going to the Riu Negril in Feb. and have a couple of questions

Going to be there over the Super Bowl does anyone know if they have a Super Bowl Party? Does this Riu have a Sports Bar?

What types of Canadian Whiskey do they have at the resort

We purchased the Ocean Front rooms does anyone know which building block or blocks they are in or do you have a resort map

Thanks Rick

I have never seen them host a super bowl party but if you can get enough people interested you could have your own, there is no sports bar but there is always Margaritaville that has plenty of tv's and action going on, not sure of the type of whiskey, maybe canadian mist not sure. OF rooms are as they indicate, facing the ocean, there are several buldings, 3 stories high, the upper rooms give you a better view but they are all nice.

We had ocean front in building one on the first floor. Room 1048. The musty smell was almost unbearable. It smelled as if mold was growing underneath the tiles and the paint. Btw I'm not very picky either. We had a room prior to 1048. We decided to "upgrade". That room 2250 wasn't ocean view but had no foul odor. We entered 4 rooms at this hotel between our friends and a couple we met. Two of four had that terrible moldy smell. Good luck with rooms. There won't be a Superbowl party. No TVs outside of rooms.
