Does it rain much in Negril during the month of January? Just wondering.

Generally speaking, NO!

With that said, no one can predict the weather, but statistically speaking, January is not considered a rainy time of year in Jamaica.

We are in Whitehouse, an hour away, every January and never a regular rain problem.

I was there the entire month of January 2014. We had an unusually rainy January - not every day, but a couple of times a week I'd say....drier than December was but not by much.

In January you might get "Christmas Breeze" - if the weather is harshing up north as it did this past year, we feel the effects in Negril with wind, cooler than normal temps and high seas. This is a more usual occurrence in January than major rainfall.
