What excursions did you take, if any?

If you used the Jewel airport transport, what was your experience?

Did you meet Scott?

Hi, my family and I are going in July! We're so excited! How did you find your stay? And what is there to do during the day other than perhaps waterpark, Beach etc (even though the beach will be enough for me 😌)

Glad you had a good time! Do you have to pay for kids club? Are the alcoholic drinks good( by that I mean are they strong and top shelf availabilitylol) and any steak/ lobster availability in the restaurants. What days are the special events on and finally is the entertainment at night family oriented ?

Thanks

Is there a good selection of Jamaican food? Were ackee and salt fish, oxtail, curry goat etc. available in the buffet?

While the whole family is at water park or snorkeling what do you do with your beach bag, room key, money(tip money), phone and camera? Is it safe to leave all of this alone while family is busy? Or do you leave all but room key in the safe? How safe is safe? I just don't want to worry while having fun.

Whilst you can never be 100% sure, it's 'perfectly' safe to leave your stuff on or under your sun loungers. I have been to JRB 7 times and always leave my beach bag this way, with phone, key etc.The only thing I put in the safe whilst at the waterpark is my jewellery (ALL jewellery has to be removed or covered over to use the slides).

The safes are as safe as they can be. They're digital and you set the code when you arrive in the room. All unlocking & locking is recorded, as are the use of the key cards, so worse case scenario, the resort have a record of times etc.

Go and enjoy and relax:)

Rell123, all the kids activities (club) are included in your AI package, unless you wish to have a private nanny, for which there is a charge. Not sure what ages your kids are, but take a plain white t-shirt each to do the tie-die session. All drinks are 'top' shelf, but please bear in mind that they may not stock your particular favourite but they will still have an excellent alternative. There's often steak and Lobster (season dependent). The majority of the entertainment is family orientated. The main stage entertainment is usually over by around 10.30pm and there'll be a few other things such as casino night, Bling disco etc which go on later. Not sure what you mean by special events?

MelloC, there are always plenty of Jamaican options available in the main buffet restaurant, as well as jerk from the grill. I often see complaints that there's too much, hey, you're in Jamaican not in Spain lol. But for those guests who like McDonalds & fries as a diet, that too is catered for from the grill (Jamaican style haha).

My daughter & I get there Monday. From what I've seen, we pack shorts and light weight tops for daytime, but what about evenings? Any need for jeans, or long sleeved tops? Also, trip advisor suggests packing a raincoat & umbrella. Is that really necessary? Lastly, hopefully, is it safe to travel into Kingston to see the Bob Marley house, do you know?
