Thank you for your kind message .

Would you consider the rooms and bathroom big enough for me to use in my wheelchair.

regards Darren Heaton

What rooms are you looking at? I would say that the garden rooms would not be - they are a tight squeeze - I believe the cottages would be, but it might be worth an email to ask. The rest of the property is very wheelchair accessible.

if i recall correctly - the first room we ever had at RDCC, for a single day - it was wheelchair accessible in the bathroom and shower. It didn't have a tub - but the shower was big. This was in on of the building, not the hut/cottage. This wasn't the building next to the queit pool or right next to the gift shop/store.

It also had doors that connected to the other rooms in it.

Thank you very much for the advice.

How many blocks of building are there ,bit confused now ?

I thought there were just

garden cottages

seaview cottages

And court yard rooms that no one seems to like.

kind regards Darren and family

Hi Darren - there are 180 individual rondavel style cottages dotted around the resort it's all very flat with pathways so should be easily accessible for you and your chair. There is also ramp access from two entrances leading to reception so again good access for you. There are also the suites set back near the adult pool and I think they are two-three floors high and the courtyard rooms which I would imagine you would struggle for access with as they are quite small. The cottages are roomy and I should imagine that getting about the cottages will be fine for you.

Any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

You will have a wonderful time.

Happy Holidays - Michelle xx

As I understand and had seen, one of the first cottages closest to the lobby is able to accommodate a wheel chair. When we were there in Nov/ Dec a gentleman in a wheelchair was in this room,

Contact the resort to confirm.
