Montego Bay Villa - Which One?

Montego Bay Villa - Which One?

We're a group of families attending an event at Round Hill this summer and we want some advice on renting a villa in that area (actually a couple of villas).

Who would you book the villas from? Which is nicer - Spyglass of Hanover? Or maybe that group of villas on the water (Noble et al)? We're a fairly artsy bunch but we like our comfort too.

And what about Long View? And someone told us that you can get nicer villas about 15 minutes away from Round Hill for less? Is this true? They heard something about a villa where the South Pacific score was written?

If anyone has any advice, we'd love to hear it -- thanks!

The Oscar Hammerstein estate is in Content, a private estate area off the B8 mountain road (turn left and drive up mountain at Reading). Drambuie Estate, Highland House and others in area on a private multi-gated road. Many estates here also have membership privileges at Round Hill beach/beach club. All are less 'Ralph Laurenized' than those at RH. Our guests have preferred Villa Kelso in Duncans to Noble House (esp.for the price). Spyglass is near Silent Waters, a Balinese-style estate.

All these villas are 15-20 min.from Round Hill, except Kelso which is 50 min.but has its own beach, plus access to Silver Sands, a top-rated whitesand private beach great for kids.
