Puerto Rico in October: weather or not

My wife is thinking of attending a conference in San Juan in mid-October. Looking at the Weather Channel Web site, it looks fairly rainy. Isn't that the end of the hurricane season? What about comfort levels overall?

It's tropical. I will rain somewhere everyday. Temps are pretty constant all year. A bit warmer in the summer. Huriricane season goes into November.

Online forecasts, Accuweather included, ALWAYS, REPEAT, ALWAYS predict clouds/rain. If you checked them everyday for a year for every island you'd swear the sun never shines anywhere in the Caribbean.

There's no way anyone can predict now what the weather will be between October 26 and November 2 - it is much too early. At best you'll get a 2 or 3 day advance waring but even then the forecast isn't all that accurate.

Suffice to say, the weather will be "tropical". Expect day time temps in the low to mid 80's F. with lots of sun, some clouds and the occasional passing shoer - weather is the same virtually every day. October/November is still hurricane season so even though it's late in the season and threat of a storm is small there's still the possibility of a storm. If that happens you'll get a day or two of unsettled weather. Again, impossible to predict if or when a storm will hit - at best you'll know only a couple of days in advance.

Don't fret the weather - there's nothing you can do about it. Weather will be what the weather will be.
