Assessibility

My wife is a stroke survivor and can only walk so much and wants badly to visit PR. We look to go in May and if anyone can offer hotel suggestions, areas to go and more I would appreciate it. She can walk some, and has aphasia so her speech is limited but not her intelligence and I will get her there. Thank you all in advance.

Hi cia, Any of the San Juan beachfront hotels will offer the accessibity necessary. The Stellaris Marriott, for example, in the Condado is in the middle of a very walkable area for restaurants, shops etc. Onsite live entertainment is usually avaiable on weekends. Its on the beach and has pools and a casino. Old San Juan is more challenging, but non walikng tours are available. There are many other options to look into, but I'm sure you and your wife will havre a great time

In Old San Juan you can also go on a free Trolly, that takes you around the City. I would rent a Car for the Rainforest. It's driving up the Mountain and just stopping on the way. You don't have to walk the trails, or just a little bid and return. After Rainforest go to Luquillo beach for Lunch and enjoy the beach.

How about rentinh a Scooter for her here to be more mobil.
