We got the Jerry Seinfeld treatment at Hertz. Another San Juan airport Hertz horror story.
I hadn't googled/tripadvisored this agency, but they are the worst by far I have ever experienced.
Apparently from what I saw online, this has been going on for years there, so it's not a fluke as the manager will try to convince you. She told us no car was ready for at least an hour because of Memorial Day which happened to have been over for 4 days. Passive aggressive, good cop bad cop, all the games that really cheese me off.
The rubber hit the road when my 4 year old rolled off the couch in the place and landed on her face; she'd been up since 4am and it was about 4pm waiting on a car for over an hour. Cars lined up around the block, lots of SUV's but curiously enough, none were clean! How could that be? Well, because the manager said so (clearly an untruth). She gave me a car when I started raising hell about my kids.
They P'd off everyone and I do mean everyone there. How can the continue to get business (I used hotwire--maybe they are having to use auction sites due to poor service).
