Anyone ever stayed at the The Beach Club Guest House? Need a

I was looking at booking a room at the Beach Club Guest House for my family's trip to Puerto Rico in March, but cant find reviews of them ANYWHERE online which makes me a bit nervous. Anyone ever stayed here or been on the property? Any feedback would be great. They've given me a REALLY great rate....just want to make sure I'm putting us in a good spot. Thanks!

I cannot advise as I was thinking of another location and similar name which wasn't family oriented. Looks OK but be careful on the beaches anywhere especially after dark or very early morning. Leave anything gold at home.

Based on the road address, that should be quite in Piñones. Isla Verde, where the airport, hotels and casinos are, marks Km. 1 of Rt. 187, so figure it out.

Please note that it is not at walking distance from Isla Verde and public transportation is scarce.

I will walk and bike in that area next week. Let me know and I will gladly stop by and take a look if you need the input.

The website works fine here.

Yes, if you could go by and check the place out that would be AWESOME! Thank you so much :) We plan on renting a car while we are there so transportation should not be an issue.

Anyone else have input?

I went there and talked to the manager. The place is up and running. It is a seafront property, a small guest house. The place is clean and groomed. Rooms have a full kitchen.

Piñones is a beach village with a lot of food stands, some are just roadside shacks, some are full-service restaurants.

Sunday traffic in Piñones is terrible. If you need to keep coming and going driving it will be a major nuisance. If you just get out and return once, it is bearable.

Other than driving, you can walk around to near places of food and drinks, and the beach. Farther, you need a car. If you like to walk, do not miss the boardwalk. It is 8-Km.-long each way.

There is bus # 45. If you are not in a hurry you could wait for that bus. However, bus schedules in Puerto Rico are at its best, unreliable. After dark, worse.

I spent almost four hours walking in the area and saw the bus passing many times. I would not expect that to happen frequently, although. If you decide to take that bus it will take you to Isla Verde (hotels and casinos) and you need to take other bus to other parts of the metropolitan area.

In re the noise you should have no problem. The rooms and the common areas face the sea, the opposite direction from the road.

I have no relation whatsoever to the place and knew about its existence when I read the posting here.

Thank you so much for the input Juan, you have helped put my mind at ease. For the price I think this place will be hard to beat. $981 for 6 nights in their 3 bedroom suite. Will go ahead and finalize my reservation now :)
