La Concha - Resort fees?

Hello All,

My question is directed to any people who have stayed at La Concha. I just read a recent review where the vacationer said there were additional fees added to their bill at check out. Now, I already know we paid a resort fee when we booked our trip, but now I am wondering if we will be billed anything extra, like an additional resort fee. Has anyone been there recently and had to pay additional resort fees? I know we were already charged this, because under the taxes section, when we booked the resort, it listed an amount as "Resort Fee". Can anyone help me here?

I haven't stayed, and I think some booking sites are different in how they do they payments/taxes.

The tax structure is like this:

You have to pay 11% room tax for a resort with a casino that goes to PR. Plus there is a 17.76% "resort tax" for La Concha.

So you need to look at your bill and do some math to see if all the fees have been added.

Thanks for reply, Flowerfarm. Is the 11% room tax usually added to your taxes and fees? Because on the bill, the only tax singled out is the Resort Fee.

If you reserved through La Concha, the resort fee will be added at the end of your stay (or so it says on their website).

If you book through other sites, they might already have the fee added in. I have heard some do, some don't.

It is best to call the hotel to double check your reservation specifics.
