Choice of hotels

Hi, we are two couples in our 50's and we will be in San Juan for two days after our cruise, in November.

I have looked at many hotels, and our choices are :

Hotel Milano or Hotel Miramar.

We are not planning on renting a car, and we just want to visit old San Juan and enjoy the city.

Your comments and suggestions are welcome

Hotel Miramar is not in the Old San Juan. You will need a car or taxi to go everywhere. From the given options, Hotel Milano is your best bet.

Other options are Sheraton Old San Juan, Howard Johnson - Plaza de Armas, El Convento, and Da House. Renting an apt is also a good choice.

We stayed in the SJSuites - inexpensive and in the center of Old San Juan. We'll probably stay there again on our upcoming trip.

I've stayed at The Gallery Inn in Old San Juan and loved it. It's not for everyone's tastes, but depending on your's it's worth a look.
