Is Culebra worth a day trip?

I was just curious if Culebra was worth going to for just a day? We are staying in San Juan and it will cost us $170 just to get there. Thanks!

Only if you love the beach and want to experience one of the top rated beaches in the Caribbean.

Not sure if by your post you are indicating that you are currently staying in San Juan or you will do so in the future. At any rate, during the summertime Flamenco Beach gets very crowded with day trippers, mostly locals from the main island. If you are going to be in SJ sometime past the summer, you might risk taking the ferry over from Fajardo...and yes it is worth it. There are other beaches on Culebra. I like Zoni Beach as few people visit there and the water and the views are beautiful. Some of the best snorkeling in PR is in Culebra.

Absolutely! The locals use Air Flamenco from Isla Grande Airport. Go!
