Never been to Icacos Island, have been to Culebra a couple of times, it has excellent snorkeling and if you have enough time Flamenco Beach is a must see.http://www.flickr.com/photos/altarose/sets/

I am going the presidents week. I can let you know about the Icacos. We decided on that one because it is not as far out( just in case the kids and sea sickness) and it has a glass bottom . Also that is the one they recommended when I called for kids.

Icacos has a beautiful beach for the kids. The water is calm and clear. Snorkeling is not the best but for a first time, perfect. The kids will have fun. You motor out and sail back. They get real close to the beach, waist to knee deep water. The Culebra trip has good snorkeling but you never get to the beach, you jump off the boat. Same with the stop at Flamenco beach, they anchor off shore and you have to swim in.

Castillo tours goes to Icacos. They start at shore to get everyone that needs it trained and then they go to a reef offshore where the snorkeling is better. While you are out there they set up a beautiful spread for lunch (rools, cold cuts, salad, and a variety of fresh fruits. Complimentary drinks are available all day. The crew is a lot of fun and very helpful. Try it ,you'll like it. They pick up at some hotels. We usually drive there ourselves.http://www.castillotours.com/
