I just had someone tell me that the bees in San Juan and near/on the beaches are particularly bad. Is this true? Worse then any other tropical area? And speaking of bugs, how bad are the mosquitoes this time of year?

Iv'e been going for more than 30 years and never had a problem with Bees. Sand Fleas yep, Bees nope.
