El Yunque Trail

Has anyone been on El Yunque Trail and gone up to the summit after all the rains a couple of weeks ago? I'd like to go sometime next week if the conditions are ok.

Thanks!

I haven't done it recently, but it is not on the list of closed trails, so I guess it is ok.

Just there last weekend. Some trails were closed.I'm sure most all are opened now.

Went to the summit of El Yunque peak yesterday. The trail was in good shape. I had to access the trail via the Baño de Oro trail since the Caimitillo trail across from the Palo Colorado visitors center was closed off. Nice hike!

Good news. Too bad you had no view due to the heavy Sahara Dust we had yesterday. But I do like the hike too!

There were some breaks in the clouds and the views to the south were great! It was nice and refreshing as the clouds moved in and out. I live in Bayamón, so I plan on returning regularly.
