What Food Can I Bring With Me?

We have rented a villa starting Nov 20. Does anyone know whether we could bring some food with us from Canada. Specifically, what are restrictions?

You cannot bring any fresh fruits or vegetables. At times there are restrictions on meats -- and if you do bring them in they must be frozen. It's really not worth the hassle as you can get most anything there. You can bring anything canned or dry packaged -- pasta, etc. Watch the weight tho -- it can add up quickly.

Also you can buy almost anything you might want there -- it just will be more expensive if it's imported. Local fruits, veges, fish, meats are relatively inexpensive.

I would suggest just bringing in those things that would be imported into StLucia that you just can't live without when you're cooking. For me, it's the very best olive oil.
