Ladera - Petit Piton suite versus Gross Piton Suite

Its about £500 difference for a week. Is the Petit Piton suite perfectly acceptable or is it worth the extra for the Gros Piton Suite. Hilltop suite is out as its another £1500.

Some say the Petit Piton suites are a tadge on the small side and the Gros is much better.

Any opinions?

Bon jou paul1962Belfast,

Not much difference... the benefits of extra roominess all depends on how much time you plan to stay in your suite.

Splurge with the extra 500.- on more unique Arts & Crafts work, excursions, tours, meals away from Ladera/Dasheene...

Bless up! Paul

thanks paul

dont shoot me but am going AI so mainly staying at Dasheene to eat and drink in the bar.

Previously had honeymoon in 2007 at Jalousie Plantation for 14 nts and had a day up at Ladera so now returning to Ladera.

Have been to St Lucia a few times so been there done most of the tours. This is total relaxation time

Awa, mon! Ladera is all about relaxation... you may appreciate a larger private space, after all.

Big up! Pasul

We just returned and you will Love Ladera. We splurged and went with the Hilltop but after being at the resort I do not think there could be a bad room.

You might want to rethink the AI though. There is only one restaurant and you might get board after awhile. Boucon at Hotel Chocolate is across the street and within walking distance for some different food. It is AWESOME.

Also if you leave the resort to go to the beach you will have to buy lunch at Sugar Beach or if you venture over to Anse Chastenet beach. The food at both these places if very good.

Dont forget the continental breakfast is already included in your room rate and if you want the full breakfast its only $6 more.

Why not stop at the supermarket on your way in and pick up beer and liquor for your room. We did this and took our drinks to the beach or when we were in our room had our own cocktails and then in the evening bought our cocktails at the bar. It saved us some $$.

Enjoy it was the most beautiful place that we have ever been!
