having a nice time despite the rain and flooding- prefer LaToc hands down! Staying in a Rondoval..dont like the fact that non- sandals guest are parked on the beach with kids

Have the staff been badly affected by the recent trough? I am in contact with some people in St Lucia and there are villages without water, some schools and houses flooded etc....

Both the East and West Coast Roads are passable, with detours, from SGSL in the north to Vieux Fort in the south.

Plan on > 1.5 hr one-way.

Glad you're still enjoying yourself Deeann. I just heard about the flooding today. I was there right after hurricane Tomas and it was not such a fun time. I had never thought of flooding! :)

I have a feeling I will agree with you. We loved La Toc and we are trying SGSL this time for our free week. Let us know all about it when you come back to reality! :)

@bsb-Yes! there was severe and devastating flooding! Which cause the loss of human life, homes and infrastructure.
