westin damage from omar?

they closed our hotel in anguilla due to damge and we need to book somewhere in saint martin for nov 10-13 . Does anyone know how the westin is for damage? We were thinking of staying there or any advise on where to stay appreciated. Also are there any beachfront hotels on orient beach other than the almander resort and the clothing optional one?

There are no beachfront hotels on Orient Beach, Alamanda and several others are back off the beach front but not far back.

See Ed & Sandra's Orient Panorama for a complete view of Orient Beach.

There is a review of the Westin from someone just returning posted on the first page.

I understand the hotels are open for business but it is recommended that you inquire direct.

just returned from the Westin, was there during the hurricane. No damage, only one palm tree was in the pool which they fixed right away. That hotel is as sturdy as they come.

Until the hurricane hits on that side of the island.

Glad all was well for you there.

Grande Case came through the hurricane ok.

You could try Grande Case Beach Club-right on the beach and a great restaurant on site.

L'Esplanade is lovely, too, across the street.

La Petite Hotel is nice there also.
