What to do?

We have been to st Marten 2 times. In 2007 We drove Around the island quite a bit. In 2008 we mostly stayed at Orient beach. I have not been to Anse Marcel .What is there and is it worth a trip?

Where is the best to party at on the Dutch side?

Also, in 2007 we had lobster at a lolo in Grand Case cheap. In 2008 we brought a group and told them the lobster was reasonable. The prices in 2008 seemed to be double what we paid in2007. Did their prices change or is it that the dollar went down?????

Suggestions on what to do and why are welcome.

Rich

I can't help you with most of your questions but regarding partying, there are many places to party on the Dutch side. If you stay in Simpson/Cole Bay, then you have the Red Piano, BBB, Lady C, and a few other places that their names escape me. In Maho you have Tantra Nighclub (above the Casino Royal), Sopranos Piano Bar that can get quite lively at night, Bliss Nightclub in the Carnevarsarie complex, and Sunset Beach Bar.

Tantra and Bliss. Tantra is a great night club. Bliss is cool because it is outside. Beaware they start late and go all night -- rest up.
