I am planning a one day stop in St. Martin/ St. Maarten with my husband and infant son in March as part of a longer Caribbean cruise. We are experienced travelers and want to see and do much beyond the port area (our interest in duty-free shopping and casinos is zero). Hoping to explore Marigot, take a couple of hours at the beach, and stop by Loterie Farm-we are hoping to hire a local tour guide with vehicle to accompany us to various sights for the day; and to pick us up and drop us off at the cruise terminal area. Can anyone recommend a good local tour guide? Also, a ball park figure for what we should expect to pay for a full day? We plan on bringing our own car seat from home, so that is not a worry, my husband will install for the day in the taxi or vehicle.
Thanks in advance!
