Sunset...+ a Grand Case restaurant to die for!?!?

OK, OK...I know they are all great...but we'll probably be in Grand Case for the Tuesday evening crafts/artisan fair (?)...and would like to have dinner watching the sun set.

Been there before and know that all the restaurants are great!....is there one that should not be missed? Is there one that everyone is raving about that has a sunset view?

We ate at The Fish Pot once...but it's not open anymore, right? I think we tried Le Testavin once and loved it.

Are there any restaurants "to die for"**...with a sunset view?

(If we need to make reservations, for a sunset dinner, what time would be best?)

Thanks for your help!

(**: to die for" = A phrase used to describe something extremely good. Important or desirable enough to die for.)

There is nothing in this world that is worth dying for.

Hey scuba,

Get a grip man. This is an expression that means relax and behave more calmly.

Scuba, I think wife, children and country all are worth dying for. But that's just my opinion.

I will agree to that. But not a restaurant. After loosing loved ones that expression just hits me wrong.

As mentioned Ocean 82 is good on the ocean side, Le Ti Provencal is awesome, but L'Tastevin would be my favorite with Provencal in close second. You really can't go wrong though...

Le Tastevin would be my "to die for" dinning experience. Talk about professional waiters..great service, food and location.

Calmos Cafe--lovely setting. They set out tables, adirondacks just before sunset.

We spent an afternoon drinking and swimming--realized it was going to be a lovely sunset...but alas had dinner reservations someplace else.

Calmos changed our reservation for us until after sunset--we grabbed our spot and watched the magic unfold.

Lovely place--hidden gem

See my review on Ocean 82. Best new restaurant in St.Martin. Also go to L'Astrolabe at Esmeralda on Friday night for the lobster dinner and music by Shine. A great romantic dinner! We've been going to st.Martin for over 15 years. There are many wonderful places to dine.
