Peter Island or Little Dix Bay?

Has anyone been to both to stay?

Have stayed at Peter Island in the beachfront junior suites several times and love it.

Perhaps looking for something different.

Any input would be greatly appreciated from the Tripadvisor contributors!

Been to both - prefer LDB. Having the ability to easily leave the report property and explore the island is a big plus.

Thank you for your reply...am now considering Guana Island.

Anyone stay at both Peter Island and Guana Island?

Again, your response is greatly appreciated.

I've stayed at Peter Island three times (including for my sister-in-law's wedding) and Little Dix Bay once and our family prefers Peter Island.

Two other suggestions if you like sailing (as many visitors to the BVIs do):

1. We've combined a stay on Peter Island with a crewed week-long Moorings charter (50 foot monohull or 40 foot catamaran, with captain and cook) and that has been terrific.

2. If you are willing to go further afield, we've really enjoyed the resort on Petit Saint Vincent in the Grenadines (ideally combined with a sail to the Tobago Cays).
