Ferry from West End can go to three places: St John, St Thomas or Jost Van Dyke. There is no 9am ferry except Sat-Sun to JVD. Do you know where you are going??? Regardless, it's a 30 mins taxi ride from town (dock).

Not exactly sure what you're asking for? Your title asks for information about a ferry to WE, but you then ask about a 9AM ferry from WE - to where? Are you looking for a ferry to Jost? Or St Thomas? On a cruise in Tortola for a day?

There is a 9AM ferry from WE to Jost on Sat and Sun...

Sure! There are several threads here talking about ideas, I would also look at cruisecritic.com because there are a ton of very recent threads there on Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda. Go to cruisecritic and then to Ports of Call, Caribbean, and the Tortola forum.

Tortola has great beaches like Smuggler's Cove for beauty or Cane Garden Bay for a busier vibe.

Jost is a popular spot if you have time to ferry over from WE, the Soggy $ Bar serves Painkillers and Seddy's One Love and Ivan's Stress Free Bar are right there in White Bay. Pretty white sand beach with several beach bars. And Foxy's is just over the hill in Great Harbor.

The Baths (a rock formation) on Virgin Gorda is the most unique excursion in the BVI and you just take a ferry from Road Town and get a taxi on VG or you can take a cruise ship package.

Check the various threrads here and at CC and see if something interests you.

Ferry is a walk from cruose dock.

Ferry schedule is here -

bvivacation.com/transportation/BVI-Ferry-sch…

If you go on your own grab a taxi on VG to the Top of the Baths, You'll walk down the path to the beach and see the Baths. You can walk/swim through them to Devil's Bay and walk back up. Have taxi return to take you to the Mineshaft for lunch, phenomenol panoramic views as well as their signature drink, the Cave In. If not enough time there is also a restaurant at the Top of the Baths. You can also stop in Spanishtown for a bite and a little shopping then walk back to the ferry.

Otherwise the ship offers a package if you would prefer going with others as this is your first cruise. That typically costs more and ypu're with a large group of course.

And you might hsve time to hit Pussers Pub or the shops near the cruise dock after you return, but you probably won't have time for another excursion unless you have time for a 1 hr island tour. Tortola is beautiful anf there are some beautiful photo ops. Taxis do hourly tours.

Have a great cruise!
