Charlotte Amalie Ferry to Road Town

Hello,

We are flying into St. Thomas and then taking the ferry to Tortola. Is it necessary to book the ferry ahead of time or is there usually room if we just head to the ferry terminal and find the next departure?

THanks for your advice.

So I found the answers on other postings. However, if we land in St. Thomas at 1:30 will we have plenty of time to catch at 4:00 ferry?

Yes, no problem. We always fly in at 1:30 and have time for a quick lunch at the Purple Pump Room upstairs over the ferry terminal. Just grab the next ferry.

Never EVER book the ferry ahead of time...of your ferry is not running, you cannot get a refund....

book the next available ferry, they run until about 5ish every day.... enjoy a painkiller and some conch fritters at the Petit Pump room after you buy your tickets...and enjoy the view!
