Taxi to Savannah Bay

How hard is it to get a cab ride to and from Savannah Bay? My husband and I are planning on taking the ferry from STT to VG and would love to spend the day at Savannah. Any cost estimate?

It's a short ride by taxi which you can find at the ferry dock, can't imagine it costing much. Your only problem is being able to find a taxi back to the ferry dock since none of them hang out in that area. I would assume a good taxi driver would pick you up at a predetermined time, just make sure you tip well enough so he does. It's a long swim back to Tortola!

Another thought, how about just renting a car for the day? Might not be any more expensive and you won't have to worry about getting back in time. The car rental's meet you at the ferry dock so it's very easy.

Here is the list of taxi fares:

Your cost is $8.00 total each way plus tip.

Like Clint1583 said, you can easily reserve a cab to pick you up at a designated time and place.

The first time we went to VG was by ferry and took a taxi to Savannah and arranged for him to come back to get us....spending time there, by ourselves and the chickens made us want to go back and just stay there...now we go every other year!!!
