I just got back from GC last Weds. I tried to use my Discover at a small gift shop and they said they didnt take Discover. I was able to use Visa there. I'm not sure if this is the case all over the island. In my experience, I would say dont depend on using Discover.

I agree. Visa & AMEX widely accepted, even MasterCard.

Have never used Discover outside of the USA.

I did find out today that Discover is not widely accepted on Grand Cayman.....guess they can keep their offer, even though they do not charge a fee for foreign purchases......I was told by someone at Visa last year there was no charge...that is not true....2% charge for foreign purchases......might check out an AExpress just for travel as long as I get points like I do with Visa.....have a nice check coming....I use my card for just about everything and then pay it off each month....a nice little way to earn some extra vacation cash.
