Is Seven Mile Beach Like Palm Beach in Aruba?

I am a relatively new traveler to the Caribbean, I went to Aruba last summer and that's it. We stayed on Palm Beach. I was just wondering how Seven Mile Beach compares to Palm Beach in Aruba in terms of restaurants. Are there a lot of restaurants within walking distance like there is on Palm Beach? Is George Town nice?

Yes they are similar. I think it's actually easier to get to more restaurants and shops by foot than in Aruba. Probably because there aren't really massive resorts/hotels lined up it the distance is shorter. As for George Town it's okay. It's not what draws us back to the island. Don't get me wrong roads are well constructed and there are a variety of shops but from distant memory I think Aruba had a bit more in shopping available.

Agree, somewhat similar. If staying in the Central area of SMB topnotch beachfronts, easy access to many awesome restaurants, shopping, etc. superb...the reason we always chose to stay in that specific area of GC! Condos the way to go on GC and there are many to chose from with easy proximity to airport, Georgetown, grocery store, restaurants, shopping. No casinos (as of yet!) on GC, a blessing in our estimation.
