Be Careful in Cayman

We used to visit Grand Cayman twice a year and I almost purchased a condo there. Glad I didn't, as the crime is getting worse by the day, and the police are defenseless. Over 14 armed robberies so far this year, and now they are becoming more violent as described in today's news:

A real shame- another example of what the feral subculture can do to a beautiful island nation.

Sad but crime is all over expecially these days...You have to be careful wherever you go..

Unfortunately, crime is everywhere you go whether it be a small island or a small town. You have to be careful wherever you go.

We have over "14 armed robberies" a week and sometimes a day, in our home city. We are not changing any plans for Cayman visits.

As others have said, we need to be watchful and careful...... same as at home !

Agree with comments- you have to be careful everywhere. It's just upsetting to see this happening to such a beautiful place. It wasn't always that way.
