Bus route question

I'll be staying at sunshine suites next month and I was wondering if the west bay bus would pass by my hotel and go as far south as Smith Cove?

Thanks,

Chris

Here is a link to the bus schedule with route maps:

Looks like you can catch the 1 or 2 and get off at the bus depot in George Town, then take the 7 to Smith Cove.

It is the #7 GT Jiffy, if you can find it. I have heard it is rather hard to ever find a bus for that route, even though it is a listed route. You may have to consider walking from GT or taking a cab. YMMV.

I have walked several times from George Town to Smith Cove and have never seen one of the public buses along the route.I agree with Testudo that if they do run it must be very infrequently if at all.

Although the #7 and #7 Jiffy bus routes are designated I don't believe there are any buses actually operating that route. If you ask your bus driver on the route from West Bay Road to George Town though, they MAY agree to take you to Smith Cove for an additional charge that would probably be quite a bit less than a taxi would charge.

There are two routes that run between West Bay and the bus depot in George Town. #1 runs via Eastern Avenue and Shedden Road in George Town which makes several more stops in those areas and takes somewhat longer. #2 is more direct (via North Church Street in George Town).
