Advice on Aqua Bay Club/Beaches

We are planning our 1st trip to GC in July. We are seriously considering staying at Aqua Bay Club as we need a condo and it looks and sounds very nice. Question we have is: is the beach nice and sandy or is it rocky? We have some small children, so a sandy beach is our preference and we want to stay at a quieter location, so ended up narrowing our search to the N. end. I think at this point our only concern is the condition of the beach at ABC.

Thanks for help!

I have not stayed at Aqua Bay Club, so will leave others to tell you about. One place we did stay a few years ago was Lacovia. It was lovely with the kids. We stayed once at Easter and once in July. We had a three bedroom unit that opened directly onto the beach. It was excellent. The beach is very private (many units are occupied by people who live and work in GC) so the pool and beach are underutilized. It has a big piece of property for the number of units (many of the newer properties have built upwards so have more guests). Anyway just thought you might want to look into it. Good luck!

Aqua Bay is very nice. The beach is great, for it is sandy. We have three children and have had a great time the 2 times we visited.

From what I have seen and heard, Aqua Bay would be just fine for you and your entire family!

Just want to provide further support that the beach there is not rocky. We stayed a few condo complexes down from Aqua Bay (Christopher Columbus), but walked the beach by Aqua Bay and it was quite nice.
