Christopher Clumbus condo area

Can anyone give recommendations for small restaurants near this condo area? Any within walking distance? Thanks for any suggestions.

There are none that are really within reasonable walking distance but a great many restaurants are within a 5-10 minute drive. Check the maps and menus on caymangoodtaste.com to see what dining options are available.

Actually, we walked from Discovery Point Club (next door) up the beach about a mile to Alfresco's. We ate outdoors. Our food was good and the experience was fun. Our kids ran around on the beach while we waited for the food to arrive. We had brought a car earlier and left it b/c at night it would have been hard to walk back, especially with kids. There are sections where you walk over some rocks. Not hard in daytime but..

The Cracked Conch is not walking distance but it is close - also heading North - and had great food and fun atmosphere. The downstairs is outside and has a ladder to get in and snorkel. Upstairs appears a little more formal but is also open to the outside.

The other direction, EATS is not far and is a good casual option as is the Sunshine Suites restaurant where we had fantastic fish tacos. But they are not really walking distance either

We stayed up in that area for many years and never would have walked anywhere for dinner. It was a short drive to many restaurants.

If you stay in northern 7mb, I suggest renting a car. Otherwise, you are better off in central 7mb.

There is a new tiki bar opposite the old Courtyard Marriott (old old Holiday Inn) that you should check out.

Other than that I would also recommend a rental car or cabs.

we stay in the central SMB area where walking to restaurants is the norm, but am familiar with the northern area. Kiddos and caymansheeley are spot on regarding needing a car....a short drive to several restaurants, but definitely not reasonable walking distance.
