Resort fees at the Westin or the Marriot..??

Does anyone know if you also have to pay a daily resort fees like for example the Ritz..???

I am going to book on cheapcarribean.com or funjet.com or a different website because their prices are better than booking straight to the hotel...

Thanks for any info..

Westin is $20 a day I think. Often these fees are collected by he hotel itself, regardless of where you book

Check the fine print. It will often tell you how much the resort fee will be.

Agree that you should check the fine print. If you don't see anything, contact whatever booking agency you select to get clarification before you book as to what is included regarding taxes and fees (including resort and service charges). As previously mentioned, these fees are often collected directly at the hotel upon check-out rather than as part of a prepaid package. Some places will charge extra for WiFi (don't assume it's included as it is at most US hotels). Some places have even instituted energy surcharges but these tend to be at condos/timeshares rather than hotels such as The Westin and Marriott. You don't want any big surprises as to the amount of your bill when you check out.
