Medical massage

Have had some back problems and am treating here at home with PT and massage therapy. Looking for a good, medical type massage while on cayman...not just - 'feel good ' massage. Any suggestions?

Thanks

cmgparsons, was your experience at the DaVinci Center a positive one for you? Was it helpful? Just curious, as I have some back issues myself.

For the past several years I've been going to Touch of Thai. At home I see an orthopedic massage specialist for back issues and other sports related injuries/pains (I play VERY hard). Agreed that most massages provide relaxation more than being a therapeutic experience. However, I have found that requesting a sports massage or a deep tissue massage along with a chat with the massage therapist before the treatment will typically do the trick. Touch of Thai is economical compared with the resort spas and requesting a more invasive procedure (such as deep tissue) usually results in a more qualified/experienced massage therapist.

As an alternative, last summer I opted for a one month unlimited pass to Bliss Yoga and did 20 yoga classes in 30 days for the price of a single massage. Not saying massages aren't wonderful but, after a month of daily yoga, I felt amazing.

I just had an amazing massage from Phyliss, called her because my shoulders were killing me. She is a mobile massage therapist, owner of Blissful Touch. She is truelly amazing and I am sure she will be able to offer the kind of treatment you need.
