Evenings for families?

Hi, looking to visit the Grand Cayman for the first time with our children ages 6 and 3... what is there to do in the evenings? Is there a central town near Seven Mile Beach to stroll around?

Our first trip, we did a night time submarine trip. It was interesting, but pricey.

I think strolling about Camana Bay is a relaxing and ideal option. Also, years back took young grandchild on night Atlantis trip that was great. Margaretaville is, IMO, a total waste of time. Went there for lunch. Food and service awful, pool area a zoo where neither us as grands or either of her parents felt at all good about her trying. After spending daytime in sun and sand, most kids at the end of the day are happy relaxing, playing games, watching a video!

So you weren't staying at either hotel, but could participate in those activities? We are going in December and staying at Plantana. But, maybe we would check out those hotel activities... Thanks!

There are certain things you can book for instance the Teddy Bear Tea at the RC over the Christmas period. Also the Pirate Dinner at the Marriott is for anyone who wants to go there to eat. Things like the free movie at the RC is (or at least was for guests). It really depends on the activity and for the most part if you have to pay for it, you can enjoy it. However things offered such as the kids camps while at an extra charge are for guests of the hotels. I totally recommend Camana Bay for kids of all ages and over the holidays it will be awesome. I think the Christmas light boat show is Dec 1 this year!
