St. Kitts with young kids

Going to be in St. Kitts with two kids under the age of 7 - any suggestions on things to do on the island?

There is a lot of unplanned joy in St.Kitts...my son who travelled there at age 3 and 4....loved the beaches, Shipwreck for food, sea and sand fun. But he really loved the monkeys the goats and general animal life.

He loved loved loved Brimstone Hill. Caribelle Batik actually had fun stuff to explore...he loved taking the boat across to Nevis, the people and the fun that he could have with local people who would chat him up or play fun games...he love loved loved Mr. X's, rolling down the hill to meals from TBR, the pool, the fish that he could see from the pier sometimes even swimming about his feet. He loved looking for shells, building sandcastles...the music - he used to dance on instinct!!

The wee rainforest hike trail at Ottleys. He loved colouring while watching the sunset from our balcony at TBR (the adults referred to this as cocktail hour!!)

St.Kitts is an extremely child friendly island and I am always suprised at how much easier it is to entertain my son (hopefully true now with the next) when we are in the Caribbean....there, life is one grand adventure and so much fun to be had!! There are likely amenities at your hotel but embrace much of the things to do and see on the island....it can be just as thrilling for your little ones as for you!
