I need to know about St. Kitts electricity. Is it 110 or 220 ? I'm bringing my Kindle and a couple other items that need 110 and was wondering if I need to bring a transformer.

Ask your hotel or apartment/house owner what they have. It will probably be 110.

2. Re: Electricity

Well, it depends where you are staying - most of the major resorts and newer condos/villas have 110v with US style outlets.

You should know, however, the Kindle charger (as well as most cell phone, laptops, iPads and similar products) are dual voltage and can be used with both 110 or 220 v. If the place you are staying at has only 220v you'll need an inexpensive "european style" (2 round pins) plug adaptor - NOT A VOLTAGE CONVERTER) - which you can readily purchase in department stores like K-mart, Wall Mart, electronic shops like Radio Shack or travel stores.
