Moving to St. Kitts and bringing our pet dogs

We are possibly moving to St. Kitts from Denver, CO. We have pet dogs and will bring them. What do we need to know about dogs on St. Kitts. Are there places we can exercise with them? Are they allowed on beaches, trails, etc?

Thank you.

Everything you need to know about bringing your pet dog to St. Kitts can be found on the following websites:

Lot's of people have dogs on St. Kitts - yes you can walk them on the on trails and the public portion of the beach but make sure your pet is "under your control" (aka on a leash) if you are in an area where there are other people. I mentioned "public portion" of the beach - please beware that not all the "sand" on a beach is public access. On beaches that abut private lands there is a good chance the the area above what is known as the "Average High Water Mark" is owned by the landowner and not for public access.

There aren't very many "parks" on the island but there are several cricket fields in some of the villages which are good places to exercise your dogs when no games are in progress.
