Snorkelling from Buccament Bay

Does anyone know if there is any decent snorkelling direct from the shore at Buccament Bay, or do you have to go out in a boat. Also can you hire snorkelling equipment there.

There is a headland to the south so there may well be some rocky shore and some reef that would be fun snorkeling. But that is just conjecture on my part. BBay will not respond to my request for a tour.
