Beach chair

In order to minimize baggage we will not bring folding beach chairs with us to Bequia.

Does anyone know if these chairs can either be purchased on the island or rented

They rent them at both Lower Bay and at Princess Margaret. Though lots of people just grab a table and hang out at De Reef or Jack's for the day.

Voyager in Kingstown sells folding beach chairs...

a sarong or pareo is handy for sitting on on the beach...folds up to next to nothing and you can rinse it out to get the sand off...you can buy those here too...

something you might want to bring though is a microfiber towel...these are wonderful for taking to the beach or out on a snorkelling or dive trip as they fold up small yet dry you off really well...I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond but I think Walmart sells them too...

Treasure chest, next to Bequia Venture is always a good spot to check, you never know what they might have...also Bequia Venture, and the Syrian shop across the road...no guarantees that anybody will have them either in Bequia or in Kingstown...
