Christmas in Tobago

4 single women planning first visit to Tobago Dec. 16-Jan 1, staying in Crown Point/Store Bay. Does Tobago close its doors for the holiday - what can we expect for nightlife. What about Boxing Day? Any any all replies encouraged. Usually go local!

Tobago definitely doe not close its doors, in fact i think that is one of the best times of year, and evn though Tobago is not popular for its nightlife, there are a few places to go and you can be sure most people will be there. There is also always one or two good old years night fetes, which you usually do no know about until closer to the time.

You will have fun. Like previous poster, fetes or parties aren't planned this far in advance. If you are in the Store Bay area, all you have to do is ask around (locals) and they will gladly fill you in on whats going to be happening. I went to numerous local parties last year and had a blast. ....(was down for Dec. & Jan.). Its' definately a 'family time' holiday with all the special foods being prepared for the special occassion!! Enjoy and try everything!!
