coco reef re seagulls

We have visited coco reef twice, once in late October and then in March.

In March the seawall (or breakwater) was covered in very noisy seagulls. Someone said it was for the mateing season.

Does anyone know when they've finished and moved on?

The noise was incredible and they divebombed you when you snorkeled close to wall. If we go back I'd like to avoid them.

Anyone seen them there end of April?

My family stayed at Coco Reef mid-april and the sea-gulls were still to be en masse on the rocks.

Apparently the hotel has now solved the seagull problem using a predator-deterrent strategy, which involves the help of guests - when snorkelling, you may be asked to don a Killer Whale fancy dress wetsuit, which scares them off apparently. Have fun!
