Surf casting from beach?

Going to Turks and Caicos in early December. Staying at Royal West Indies Resort. Wondering about surfcasting. Do a lot of this in Florida with great success. Are there areas where I can surfcast? Heard something about not in front of hotels?? If its allowed what type of fish are being caught?

You are not allowed to fish in the national park :-(

Not allowed anywhere on Grace Bay, it's a national park and protected.

There are areas to go, but you need transportation, fishing gear and a fishing liscense.

There are also excursions that take you to flats for this, especially bone fish.

We will have transportation. Any ideas where we could drive to a beach area and surfcast? Not really looking to hire a guide. Plan to take my own fishing gear and buy a license but wondering where we should go. Thanks for any info you can provide.
