Destination Wedding

Hi everyone,

I am going to a destination wedding at Beaches in T&C in April. The wedding is April 12th and I will be in T&C from the 10th through the 17th. Most of my family will be leaving on the 14th.

I booked my flight (non-refundable) and all 7days at Beaches - not knowing much about the resort. I did not realize it was so family oriented and more of a water park. I am single with no kids. I extended my stay for some quiet time to relax and reflect and, hopefully, meet some adults for company. After researching Beaches, I realize this is not for me.

I am still stuck with family from the 10th thru the 13th but am hoping to move to another resort for the additional time.

Can anyone recommend a place that I can move to for the four additional days? I would like it to be in the same area so I am thinking Grace Bay?

I agree with your decision 150%..You should get in touch with Val from Turks & Caicos reservations..He will take wonderful care of you and you will be so glad you rethought you original plans..There are many resorts that will fit your means..Give Val a call.

Agree with JerseyGirl, www.turksandcaicosreservations.tc

Great idea to leave Beaches for a few days. 2 resorts that are right down the beach that come to mind are The Sands and The Alexandra. Both have restaurants and a bar with music, we always seem to sit and chat with others at both of these places.

I will definitely look into changing my reservation and leaving Beaches early.

Hi Jerseygirl205!

I took your advice and called Val this morning and I am so glad I did.

I told him my travel plans, concerns and limitations due to the wedding at Beaches. We decided to book the entire hotel stay somewhere else. I am staying at the Beach House. It looks beautiful and best of all it looks like something I would dream up for my fantasy vacation.

I feel so much better about the whole trip because my idea of fun does not include any Sesame Street charactes at all (or strollers....).

Thanks again,

Lisa
