Lazy Post - Turks and Caicos in Pictures

I promised some non-food related pics from the last trip. Better late than never. We only had a few days of pure Aqua-delicious bliss so not that many pics... eatingwithziggy.com/2013/…

That's the customary finish of the beer based mussels in Bruges, Belgium.

Well, customary in my house at least. I haven't seen anyone else do it there. What else are you supposed to do with leftover beer.

Like. Your photos prove you really do get up and walk around between meals.

Well... kinda. Some of them as you can see were taken on the way to Flamingos. I remembered to take the camera but not the wallet. The Regent grand shots were taken on the way to visit you and Le Bouchon. You can tell by the shots that I felt uneasy a bit from hunger. Then you have the pictures of Garam, SP and Bugaloos and the rest were taken after feeding at the SS. So for the most part they were on the way or back from meals.

Ziggy great pictures! and info! and everything on your web page!

I have two questions:

We are planning to go to some of the nice restaurants in T&C.

Is there a place to eat good hamburgers or steacks that you can recommend? Husband does not eat sea food.

Is there a place where I can eat a snapper ( or a similar fish, fried or grilled in a simple way) maybe with rice and plaintains?

If it is coconut rice better but beans rice is ok, too.

I miss the caribbean area of my country where they can prepare it by the beach in a very simple way like what is shown in this pic:

Thank you!
