Destination Experts: Help! Three families with kids.

Hi there! We are three families traveling to T&C in June. Beaches is out of our price range at $7000/week and frankly just way too big. I promise, I've combed these forums, but figured I'd ask for a more targeted list of options from all of you. Children range from 5 to 10 years of age. The things that are important to us are:

- outstanding beach/pool service, food and drinks

- on a nice part of the beach

- kids club / program

- in close proximity to good dining options

- large rooms

- continental breakfast (at least)

We would want to stay at or below $500/night.

Thanks in advance! =)

Keep in mind that most resorts offer specials beginning June 1. usually your 6th and 7th nights free. You have many to choose from. Ocean Clubs East and West, Royal West Indies, The Sands, and The Alexandra are all very nice moderately priced resorts. There are many more on the high end.

I would suggest you contact www.turksandcaicosreservations.com They can explain the details of each resort, and help you decide. They also operate on the island, and find out as soon as specials are offered. Many of us use them.

Hope this helps.

Is that $500 per night per family ($1500) or $500 per night for all three families?

I'm assuming she means per family but I should probably stop assuming anything on the forums

$500 for 1, 2 bedrooms is sort of somewhere in between luxury and mid priced resorts.

Look at the Sands, Ocean Club West, although I don't know what type of kids programs they offer these days if any

Seven Stars is another options for higher end tho you may need to adjust the budget a little. Try calling them directly to get the best rate for 3 rooms.

SS got a kids club but we never used it and don't know anyone else who did. Unlike Aruba or other islands, this is not the type for kids clubs, but your kids will have fun.

I did mean $500 per family =) sorry, I should have specified. So yes, $1500 per night total between the three families. Separate accommodations for all.
