Rental Property pulled of Rental Market??

We had paid deposit for a Tranquility Vacation Rental since around November. We received an E-mail that the property " is being pulled off the rental market immediately". The options we are being offered by the rental company are not acceptable to us. Has anyone else had this experience? We have plane tickets purchased for T & C and really have our heart set on going to T & C. Any suggestions on rentals is greatly appreciated. We are booked to fly our on July 14, 2013 and return July 21, 2013.

That is a shame...please call TurksandCaicosReservations.com 1-877-774-5486 asap...they are experts in rentals and I'm sure they will be able to help you out. They are the nicest people too!

If they are only giving you anything less than your deposit for their side of the rescinded deal, I would be seething mad too. You purchased your air tickets for the agreed upon dates after they accepted your deposit for that rental time period. They owe you something more for their breach of contract after 7 months. Now with only 2 months notice, they just e-mailed you to let you know about the situation. Options they offered you were unacceptable. Any other rental property offered to you or did they bid you just a sorry? DR. JIM

yes, are you getting the full deposit back?

Did tranquliity say why? I know they post here so maybe they give the reason (most probably the owners told them to do it for some reason or maybe it develped a fault / issue?)

This should be on the Providenciales Forum maybe? Tranquility Vacation Rentals is on Provo not on Grand Turk.

If your stay was going to be on Grand Turk I would be happy to help you connect with someone who could solve your problem. I am not a realtor or rental agent but Grand Turk is a small Island and I would be happy to help you find a place.

Best of luck!!

I am certain you will be able to find another perfect private honeymoon villa, two bedroom in the 350 per night range. I see availability at this lovely home in Leeward.

Barefoot Palms Villa - walk to Pelican Beach.

And availability all except your last night at:

Acacia Villa - Within Leeward one mile to beach.
