Lunch Near Port???

We will be in Grand Turk in Oct and will be taking a boat tour to "the wall" during the morning and the beach in the afternoon. But, we would like to have lunch somewhere near the port once we return from the boat tour....any suggestions?

How about lunch @ the world's largest Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville @ the end of the dock where you can have your "Cheesburger In Paradise" along with that famous drink. DR. JIM

Its not expensive in a taxi end-to-end of the island so get away from the crowds who have disembarked!

Guanahani Restaurant at the Bohio Dive Resort would get my vote!

Go directly to the Sandbar on Duke Street for the REAL cheeseburger in paradise, without the crowds.

Go to the Sandbar. Enjoy a beach right there away from the Thousands of Cruisers! GT is still a quaint island. After a great lunch wander down the street (on FOOT) and appreciate the charm of the original buildings, friendly locals. Enjoy a cold beverage at a local spot or grab an ice cream cone. Easy to get a taxi from the port and back when you are ready. If you need four star Americanized surroundings stay at the Port and enjoy Margarittaville. If you prefer a shady more secluded option the Secret Garden at the Saltraker Inn across the St from the Sandbar has very good food as well.
