Good food not spicy and rich

Where can I get a good steak or seafood dinner not drenched in spices or rich sauces? Our first night we went to Caicos cafe, it was DELICIOUS, but we can't eat rich food every night. Same with my burger at the Deck (seven stars) drenched in black pepper. I prefer plainer food, just good old steak or seafood, anyone?

I always get the grilled grouper with veggies at Mango Reef. Delicious!

Coco Bistro, and ask them to cook it how you want it with no sauce or spice. They will accomodate your request.

Coco Bistro has a very good rack of lamb also. We also liked the lobster tail at Bay Bistro.

Tiki hut also has great lobster.

I think Tiki Hut is generally way underrated compared to other places( many of which are more expensive and not as good, IMO)

Bet i have been to Tiki Hut at least 20 times over the years and i have never been dissapointed. And service wise, i have found it probably among the most consistant on the Island.

And no, i dont own Tiki Hut.....lol

I'm with you, mars. Don't care for rich sauces, or starchy food either.

No matter where we've dined, I've found that the easiest solution is to tell the wait staff or chef what I'm looking for. IMO, the menu is a starting point at the nicer restaurants, and they don't mind altering the sauce or sides. Actually, most trained chefs (and the best "home grown" chefs) appreciate the input.

Tell them what you want, and enjoy. :-)

Always ask Marco at Caicos to grill the fish and sauce on the side
