Diving from Sapodilla Bay...

Does anyone know a dive shop who will pick us up via boat from Children's Beach?

Most, if not all, dive shops will pick you up by VAN for free. Not sure about by boat though.

Sap Bay is mostly too shallow for boats to come in, and the jetty there is in no fit state for anything!

best arrange a vehicle pick up

Good to know - Thanks for the info!

Was basing a vehicle rental on diving boat pickup, maybe we will just get something. Do they have Mokes on T&C? We just don't need much, but a little more than a moped.

Not on the website but www.GraceBayCarRentals.com rents scooters starting at $29.

www.ParadiseScooters.tc rents four different sizes and does Vespa Tours.

www.CaicosWheels.com has a 20% off Summer sale going on.

Am not aware of RentABuggy having scooters and they sell, no longer rent 'Island Cruisers'.

Thanks for those additional options! However we do not want Scooters, we don't feel they are safe. I will look into that 20% off sale. The rent a buggy site has a moke image on their website, but they do not offer one; maybe I will give them a call. :-/

Children's Beach is a gorgeous beach on Sapodilla Bay... wherewhenhow.com/turks-caicos-islands/provid… I think it is called that because it is so calm and shallow. …flipkey.com/img/photos/365361/286310/large_…

Sapadilla bay is terrific for kids!

Rent a buggy is the only one with island cruisers, if no longer, then you're out of luck! (they were a lot like mokes)

Staying at Sapadilla though, you really need a car, most that get buggys stick to Grace Bay area I personally would not be on one on Leeward Hwy which you you have to be on for restaurants, shops, etc.
